Tara Kulkarni

I am an assistant professor at California State University - Monterey Bay. I study health disparities/inequities in education using critical quantitative frameworks. Specific interests are special education disproportionality, emergent bilingual assessment, and implementing multi-tiered systems of support in schools. My perspective is international and broad - I have a masters in clinical psychology from the UK, and several years of independent as well as supervised mental health service provision to children and adolescents in schools and outpatient settings across India and the United States.
