Jeffrey Pearson
Jeffrey Pearson is a product of Prince George's County Public Schools. After graduating from Suitland High School, he attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore on a full academic scholarship where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics followed by a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education from Salisbury University. Jeffrey Pearson is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Mathematics Education at Morgan State University and employed as a High School Numeracy Coach for Prince Georges County Public Schools. Mr. Pearson has presented at numerous local and national mathematics
conferences including the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics on various effective strategies for increasing student achievement and engagement in mathematics. He is an active member of Prince George’s County Education Association, a tutor and curriculum writer for Community Youth Advance, and a trustee of Distinguish Gentlemen Entertainment. It is his sincere hope and passion to pursue scholarly research that can reform education for all students.
